Romanian Minister delegate for Energy
Constantin Nita, the Romanian Minister delegate for Energy, is an MP representing Brasov County in the Chamber of Deputies since 2000. As Minister Delegate for Energy, he coordinates the activities in the Romanian energy sector,aiming to generate growth within the system by attracting new investors, and by developing strong
local companies that are able to play a major role in the region. He also developed interconnections with neighbouring countries and enforced the economic criteria for the state-owned companies.
Mr. Niţă is actively involved in major infrastructure projects – Nabucco, AGRI. He has a PhD in Economics.
Between December 2008 and September 2009, Constantin Nita served as Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Commerce and Business Environment.
