Patricia Wruuck is an Economist in the Economics Department of the European Investment Bank. Before joining the EIB, Patricia worked for Deutsche Bank Research, where her focus was on banking, financial markets and regulatory topics and European economic policy, and for Google.
She received a doctorate from the University of Mannheim on “The political economy of anti-dumping protection” analyzing the use of trade defense measures from a strategic perspective. Patricia has written articles and contributed to collective works on banking and European policy topics, including for example the business environment in Europe, trade policy, and the digital single market.
